If you are about the 3D graphics in video art, you definitely must see this one. A great combination of music and visual presentation made a beautiful artwork in Max Cooper and Tom Hodge – Remnants (Official Video by Nick Cobby).
This video is about the self-contained nature of mind and matter. The physical processing of sounds by the brain leave remnants in its structure as it learns about the outside world. Eventually the universe and the platonic realm of laws and structures are perceived. But while the natural laws and their resulting universe seem to create and contain the mind, the mind ultimately contains them all. – Max Cooper

Guys, I’m speechless. Previously you might listened to Moustache Music: Stimulus Timbre ~ Stachecast #011 ~ Sonic Odyssey ~ [STC011] and some others. This is something completely different brought by Moustache Music. You definitely need to hear that.
Enjoy your weekend with Hasan Hujairi ~ Stachecast #014 ~ Formulae [STC014].
Session background:
“Formulae is an arc of sonic concerns Hasan Hujairi has as someone with a hand in electronic music, sound art, and Middle Eastern musical traditions. The session jogs through different and disjointed approaches as Hujairi delicately negotiates the direction of the work. Nevertheless, the (sometimes deceptive) sense of quiet the listener gets makes him or her imagine that this session is in fact a narrative of peculiar secrets and lessons. The entire session is designed to be carefully listened to on headphones.” (H. Hujairi)
After several listening sessions on our own part, we’ve only discovered just a fraction of what this art piece is about. Perhaps through headphones you might be able to figure out the whole story!
So please, grab your headphones, faze out all external interruptions, close your eyes, open your mind and allow yourself to be part of this magical piece of art.
We would like to thank Hasan for his dedication and for portraying his true inner self!
All the best,
MoustacheMusic crew

Previously you might listened to Max Cooper’s Essential Mix for BBC Radio 1. Here is an another one masterpiece from a genious producer for today. A collaboration with a piano maestro Tom Hodge brought a Teotihuacan (Part 2). The story of this track is taking to the Teotihuacan’s pyramids in Mexico. There is also a Part 1 version from Quontiet series can be downloaded here: www.maxcooper.net.
So it’s a mix of loss and sadness and beauty with an edge of modern misuse, which I tried to capture in the original strings from which the track was built. I also made some binaural recordings of the sounds there, and a storm which came in, to give a real layer of atmosphere from the actual location. Tom Hodge then played piano to these elements, bringing the whole piece to life. – Max Cooper
Let the new listening experience happened with Max Cooper – Teotihuacan (Part 2) with Tom Hodge!

I’ve learned to experience feelings when I’m immerse into unreality. Here, they are empty worlds. They are nothing. Flux of colors, sounds, sensations. This chaos starts taking shape only when I begin to feel. Forms filled with sense. I define infinity. With my presence, nothing becomes something. It makes me happy and quiet. It’s going to keep happening until I collide with another self. – r.roo.
